My recommendation and what I use personally is the Elgato 4K60 Pro. If it works fine there but not on your PS5 you know that at least the capture card is working and it must be one of the issues from above. If the issue still persists, try the Capture Card on another device (for example PS4 if you have). If you are certain all the above is set correctly, try rebooting / power-cycling all devices, that can often fix the issue.Switch to the listen tab, check listen to this device, and under playback through this device, select your computer speakers. Mine says Digital Audio Interface (the video capture card I have hooked up) and it is already checked green. If your capture Software lets you select different Video Sources, make sure PS5 is selected (Elgato Game Capture lets you select this). On the new window that opened, switch to the recording tab. However, it’s the first 4k recording, and only internal choice taking up a PCI E slot on your motherboard. So having it connected to a USB Port (best on your Computer) is required. The second Elgato recording device to make it on our best Capture Card for Switch and PS4 list. Some Capture Cards (such as Elgato) get their power through USB and don’t have their own power supply unit. Make sure the Capture Card is powered on.Make sure the latest Capture Card Firmware is installed (can usually be updated through the capture tool on Computer, depending on your capture card model).Make sure you’re using the latest version HDMI Cables.Image posted to show settings and audio being captured. I’ve switched around multiple HDMI cords to see if there was a faulty one but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I have the settings setup as the Plugable tutorial videos have and I’m using the USB-A connection since I don’t have a USB-C port on my PC.

Try lowering the resolution to 1080p and turn off HDR. Some capture cards cannot capture 4K or HDR. Make sure your Capture Card supports the resolution and video settings you’re trying to capture (what you’ve selected in PS5 Settings > Screen and Video > Video Output).Double-check that PS5 HDCP is really turned Off, not On.
